Ok, re-phrase: What are your opinions on this wedding idea? And this dress?

Outdoor Victorian theme, with a camping trip sort of twist (the Victorian aspect is because the reception is before the ceremony, and the ceremony procession order, and that’s it. *Not* decorations, *not* clothing. And the camp aspect is *not* supposed to match with the victorian aspect. I don’t care if the groom sees me before the ceremony. And the camping part is *not* intended for every one of the guests.)

10am – noon Brunch. (Not just danish & coffee. Personalised picnic baskets filled with everything you’d normally put in a picnic basket for breakfast/lunch.)
Noon – 5pm Camp games, Hike, etc. (Hey, c’mon, I’m a big kid, ok? And I know a lot of kids. There would be a lot of options available, 10 or so. Not all of which would require getting up and running around (I do realize old/sick/disabled/lazy people don’t like this sort of thing). And there would be food available, just not formally served. More like, "if you’re hungry, there’s still food over there. Feel free to grab it.)
5pm – 6pm ceremony and storyteller (actual real story teller. Like at Native American gatherings. *Not* someone sitting there reading a book.)
6pm – 8pm Dance, with "small food" table (mostly for people not staying for the next part. This would be like main course food on side dish plates. So people leaving after the dance part could take a lot, and people staying for the next part could just take a little.).
8pm to ?? Family style dinner (*just* the wedding party and immediate family, no-one else), with photo/video montage.
Whoever wants to can camp overnight (tent or cabin.)
The Big Sendoff the next morning, in a hot air balloon.

Side question:
It’s not entirely my own creation, just my editing to the perfect template dress, lol. But picture this dress with a vertical ruched bodice, cap sleeves, and a beaded layer under all the tiers (the tiers are chiffon.)

The dropped waist-’line’ is a white velvet belt with crystal clasp, and those grey dots at the shoulders are also crystal clasps. The bottom hemline goes to mid-calf in front and cowls down to ankle-length in back.
I plan to pair this with this necklace (or something very similar):

and…I don’t know what shoes. Maybe you could make a suggestion?
My hair will be in a big high-up bun, with a string of pearls for a bun wrap and a feather flower at the base. Possibly a cage veil, maybe not (which do you think would be better? With or without?).

All in all, what do you think of the wedding idea and the dress? Good? Bad? Bananas? Lemme know.
Oh shoot, the dress link. This one should work:

Well the day sounds very nice to me. I would be happy to be a guest! I might have missed it but when is the actual ceremony? I would be a little worried that starting events so early in the day (especially all the outdoor stuff, hiking…) that people would be wore out and not really in the mood for dancing and staying up late. Or really how to tactfully handle you guys stepping out for a private dinner while the rest of your guests are there. I don’t feel real good about that….I can’t view the pic of your dress but as long as you feel beautful in it then you will look beautiful to everyone!

It’s a bit much, but i’ll come. I like when things are different and exciting. My only concern is this

8pm to ?? Family style dinner (*just* the wedding party and immediate family, no-one else), with photo/video montage

So let’s say i’m a friend. If I stay for the entire event, i’m not invited to the family style dinner? What about non family member who are staying over night….can they not attend?

Other than that, it’s sounds fine to me. Oh one thing I would say is try to have the ceremony and reception at a planned time. Therefore the people who can not attend the early morning event or the over-night event can still come for the "ceremony/reception"

10 hours of bs and you expect people to find appetizing finger food that’s been out in the camping site for 6 hours?? Yikes.

People will be bored with 12 hours worth of activities and no substantial food. Most weddings last 5 hours and provide one full meal, yours is 12 hours and NO meal. C’mon.
