Outdoor Victorian theme, with a camping trip sort of twist (the Victorian aspect is because the reception is before the ceremony, and the ceremony procession order, and that’s it. *Not* decorations, *not* clothing. And the camp aspect is *not* supposed to match with the victorian aspect. I don’t care if the groom sees me before the ceremony. And the camping part is *not* intended for every one of the guests.)
10am – noon Brunch. (Not just danish & coffee. Personalised picnic baskets filled with everything you’d normally put in a picnic basket for breakfast/lunch.)
Noon – 5pm Camp games, Hike, etc. (Hey, c’mon, I’m a big kid, ok? And I know a lot of kids. There would be a lot of options available, 10 or so. Not all of which would require getting up and running around (I do realize old/sick/disabled/lazy people don’t like this sort of thing). And there would be food available, just not formally served. More like, "if you’re hungry, there’s still food over there. Feel free to grab it.)
5pm – 6pm ceremony and storyteller (actual real story teller. Like at Native American gatherings. *Not* someone sitting there reading a book.)
6pm – 8pm Dance, with "small food" table (mostly for people not staying for the next part. This would be like main course food on side dish plates. So people leaving after the dance part could take a lot, and people staying for the next part could just take a little.).
8pm to ?? Family style dinner (*just* the wedding party and immediate family, no-one else), with photo/video montage.
Whoever wants to can camp overnight (tent or cabin.)
The Big Sendoff the next morning, in a hot air balloon.

Side question:
It’s not entirely my own creation, just my editing to the perfect template dress, lol. But picture this dress with a vertical ruched bodice, cap sleeves, and a beaded layer under all the tiers (the tiers are chiffon.)

The dropped waist-’line’ is a white velvet belt with crystal clasp, and those grey dots at the shoulders are also crystal clasps. The bottom hemline goes to mid-calf in front and cowls down to ankle-length in back.
I plan to pair this with this necklace (or something very similar):
http://www.raveneve.com/immortel/maddonna.jpg
and…I don’t know what shoes. Maybe you could make a suggestion?
My hair will be in a big high-up bun, with a string of pearls for a bun wrap and a feather flower at the base. Possibly a cage veil, maybe not (which do you think would be better? With or without?).
______________________________________…
All in all, what do you think of the wedding idea and the dress? Good? Bad? Bananas? Lemme know.
Oh shoot, the dress link. This one should work:

Well the day sounds very nice to me. I would be happy to be a guest! I might have missed it but when is the actual ceremony? I would be a little worried that starting events so early in the day (especially all the outdoor stuff, hiking…) that people would be wore out and not really in the mood for dancing and staying up late. Or really how to tactfully handle you guys stepping out for a private dinner while the rest of your guests are there. I don’t feel real good about that….I can’t view the pic of your dress but as long as you feel beautful in it then you will look beautiful to everyone!

Prologue
Day 1
Today we…
HOLD OOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!
What, Ricky?? You are interrupting my train of thought!
Never mind your train of thought!! You forgot to talk about the characters! And the story beyond the one you are ABOUT to write!!
Uuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhh!! You ALWAYS have to annoy me! Anyway, I’m soooooooooooo sorry that the first book by me has a crap beginning. I hope the rest of them will start better, though. Naturally, I think they will, because Ricky won’t be getting in the way!
Hey!
Whatever, you know I was just saying that to wind you up.
Ok, can we get on with the story? The real one I mean?
Right. But YOU have to tell it, remember?
Oh, sure, how shall I start?
We’ve forgotten about the characters!!
But there is only me, you and a ghosty-spirity-type…THING. Anyway, once upon a time…
Chuck the ‘once upon a time’ and tell the tale of the Man in the Field!!
YES! Anyhow, I was in some field, yeah, and suddenly…
Trust a boy to tell it properly. My advice: do not do that!! Otherwise, they will just DRONE on…
…suddenly, I see this bloke in a red cap and blue shirt (or was it blue cap and red shirt?) walk near me…
Ghost’s in caps? Is it a gangster, or something?
…I only saw him with the corner of my eye, but when I looked in his direction full on, he WASN’T THERE!!
Ok then…I have 2 statements…ONE: knowing how goofy my friend here is, it was probably an ILLUSION. TWO: because the ghost is gangster-style-ish, we should call this book ‘The Gangster Bloke Who Wanders Where He is Not Welcome and Then Turns Out To Be a Ghosty-Spirity-Type…THING.’ Now… for the made up story….
What do you think of the prologue? It’s set out like two people talking. As is chapter one…
Chapter 1: our amazing luck
It was a fresh and crisp new morning in the middle kingdom, otherwise known as China (no, I don’t belong in the Mad House and, yes, I will explain how me and my coo-coo friend ended up packing our bags and shooting off to China Town). The magnolia trees were blooming peacefully, letting out gentle sweet fumes. The cool water of the silvery stream was whispering empty secrets to the beautifully poised fish. All was quiet…until I somehow managed to win 2 tickets to China. And I had no-one else to take but my totally, utterly, completely, most-embarrassing-in-the-whole-wide-world friend. What’s more, we had £1 000,000,000,000,000,000 to spend, and we were planning on buying the best souvenirs we could find. We also planned on taking a look at lots of the most important historical land marks, and also the Secret Government Construction Lab-we had a special permission (signed by the President, for Pete’s sake!), so let’s go for it!
So, one very sunny day, we arrived at our hotel deluxe in the heart of China. The hotel was called The Enchanted Victory, only in Chinese (that, my friend, is pronounced something like HDSAGDFHHIBBBESDOFGUSGE). After unpacking our bags, we went to bed-it was REALLY late and we had TWO WHOLE WEEKS of trips, notes and photographs. And THIS is what happened the next day…
Day 1
We had tonnes of homework that HAD to be done (or else…we will probably get detention for the whole school year, or something), so we thought, well, how about we do MOST of it today, go somewhere tomorrow, and, then at the END of tomorrow, finish it. Well, we had SO much homework I just said “Stuff the learning-let’s explore the hotel-its HHHHHUUUUUGGGGGEEEEE!” Ok, so I was totally keen on actually seeing the spa, the personalised-and-private-just-for-the-two-of-us dining room, the coral massage parlour, the Thai-style garden, the waterfall streams, the glamour centre, the stylist-session choose-your-perfect-outfit galore, the…
But WE ended up-where else?-the plain near the hotel…
Because SOMEONE (hint-hint: Ricky) said they needed some fresh air!!
Just DROP the subject! Anyway, while we were at the field Dixie and I just STARED at the small traditionally-roofed village houses, at the green trees and their beautiful bursts of leaves here and there…
…which hung like emerald-covered canopies over our heads, stretching far into the sky…and the figure? WHAAT? The blurry figure which, as if on an old-fashioned tape, kept flicking in and out of focus. Then, its clothes changed. Its face changed. Then…it disappeared.
I thought it was an illusion, but it kept on re-appearing. Even as we got ready for bed it was there.
Well? Good or not?
I skimmed the fist part and got utterly confused. I have no idea what’s happening because there are no quotation marks around what seems to be dialogue. Why does it seem to be two different people talking anyways?
When writing a book, you can’t use capital letters for a random word even if you are putting emphasis on it because it’s not grammatically correct. Instead, put it in italics.
I can see a lot of other things that can be improved but I won’t spend my time correcting all of it. Get an adult or someone that’s good at writing and grammar to help.
You’re also obviously very young, years younger than the age you’re supposed to be on Yahoo! Answers. Wait until you learn more about writing and grammar rules until you get this published, because I can guarantee it won’t be published in this current condition.
Read some books, learn from their styles and how they’re written, and then continue to write.
This story is a wonderful story that teaches children a valuable life lesson, to accept another as they are. Young readers will learn about a fat little frog who has been hurt by thoughtless comments about her size. The colorful illustrations are done by children to add interest. There is also a blank picture for the reader to color to personalize the book. This is what makes these books unique.

How do you ask questions on a website that then uses the answers and places them into a template – instantly. As in "what is your name?"… this is then inserted into a personalised story, script etc. Like kid’s names placed in books… that can then be manipulated and printed off – all there on the site?
I think I got the perfect solution for you. It comes ready to use, but it definitly can be changed (and should be), to fit the audience (age, personality, so on.)
Its a java script and some html that the user selects answers from a form, hit generate, and bam a story is "made" for them.
The page is http://www.javascriptkit.com/script/cut140.shtml and it has a WORKING DEMO for you to try.
View to get a unique gift idea that you can make. Lots of imagination was used as I created a personalized board book for my sister’s birthday. I put myself and her in the story. It took quite awhile but it turned out beautiful.

For christmas I was thinking of buying my brother and his girlfriend a book to read to their son, my nephew. I remember hearing about books that you could buy and edit on the internet. Where the stories are already written except you add the names in. As my nephew is only a few months old I wanted to get my brother and his girlfriend a book to read to him. A book like ‘My mummy and daddy and me’ sort of thing. Does anyone know of any websites I can go on to find these. Preferably uk websites.
Thanks x

I’m looking for the type where they put the child’s name into the story, along with their friends if possible????
I remember getting one of these books myself when I was little, does anyone know where I can get one in Birmingham, other than on the internet?
Please help… it would make a perfect Christmas present!
The last time I saw these was when I worked for a mail order company now no longer existing. Yyou had to complete a form to have the story printed out using the right names.
It was actually quite expensive because it was a short book which had to be made especially for each child.
